Jetskiing, Para-sailing, Kayaks, Paddle boats:
Jetskiing is popular activity for people of
all experience levels on Lake Tahoe.
And don't forget parasailing, one of the more
unusual water-oriented thrills Lake Tahoe has to offer. Described
as a cross between hang gliding and parachuting, parasailing
involves the use of a boat attached by a long line to a small
parachute. Parasailers, either alone or in tandem, are lifted
to a height of about 100 feet above the water at speeds of up
to 15 mph before landing safely on shore or on a platform.
There are plenty of other water sport activites
including kayaks, paddle boats and of course, just hanging out
on the beach.

Scuba Diving:
Expert scuba divers, as well as novices taking
beginners' classes, enjoy high visibility in 55 to 68-degree
water on Lake Tahoe during the summer months. Divers can see
schools of trout, huge submerged boulders and dramatic vertical
drops as close as 25 feet from shore that are ideal for wall
diving.
