Wedding Music

| Important Note: Check with your officient (minister, rabbi, priest, etc.) before making musical selections. Some faiths, houses of worship or officients do not allow secular (non-religious) music or particular selections. In addition, some will not permit music to be performed during the exchange of vows or as background behind the entire ceremony.
The following pieces are listed by category, and are alphabetized and numbered within each category, for your convenience. (Some titles are duplicated under several different categories because they fit under more than one heading.)
Tastes change over time, so if you do not see one of your favorites, please ask if it is still in my repertoire or if I can locate the sheet music for it. One more note: "The Angelical Hymn," which does not fit exactly into any one of the following categories, is the most requested recessional selection, because it sounds like wedding bells. It can follow music from any category. Updated November 1998 |
