Anne Roos in Costume Meet Anne Roos . . .
Anne Roos has been performing professionally on the Celtic Harp since 1983. She began her career at Renaissance fairs and quickly became a popular soloist for weddings and parties, as well as business and promotional events.

Anne Roos has performed throughout the U.S. at the Disneyland Hotel, the California Capitol Rotunda, resort hotels at Lake Tahoe and the Catskills of New York, the Atlanta World Trade Center, Oakland Paramount Theatre, cruises on Lake Tahoe and Sacramento River paddlewheelers, as well as literally hundreds of weddings both small and grand. She has even performed for the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Ireland.

Anne Roos received her music education from the University of California, Los Angeles. She taught music for the Los Angeles Unified School District, and is currently available for private lessons.

Anne has recorded as a guest artist on several projects. She is available as an accompanist and for studio recording.

About the Celtic Harp . . .

The Celtic Harp is a traditional instrument of the British Isles that predates the modern concert harp. It is an appealing instrument producing pretty bell-like tones which lend authenticity to a repertoire of traditional Irish and English music, and add a unique sound to all music played on it.

The Celtic Harp is a naturally acoustic instrument, but can be amplified when the need arises. It can be easily carried, therefore can go where a concert harp cannot. This beautiful instrument is hand-crafted from fine hardwoods. Its versatility and transportability make the Celtic Harp suitable for a variety of occasions.
