Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course


Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course -- Site of the annual American Century Celebrity Golf Championship on NBC and a member of Golf Digest's prestigious Top 100. Bordering Lake Tahoe, it's considered one of the country's most challenging and breathtaking. Tees can reach to 7,600 yards over manicured fairways, through pine forests and open meadows. Water on 14 holes and lightning fast greens make a lasting impression. Site of the 1985 U.S. Senior Open, and the 1980 U.S. Public Links Championship.

Incline Village Championship Course

Incline Village Championship Course -- This par 72 mountain classic was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. With fairways surrounded by towering Ponderosa Pines, it's carved through forests opening up to spectacular lake views. The traditional design blends character and integrity with small greens, strategically placed bunkers, streams and the challenge to keep it straight.

Incline Village Mountain Course

Incline Village Mountain Course – With spectacular green sites and contours, the Mountain Course demands more accuracy than distance. "Shot making" skills are necessary to navigate the terrain. Carved out of the pines with no harsh transition areas and no artificial landscaping, this course is all natural and a real challenge and joy to play. It's a tribute to its brilliant designer, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The mountainous 18 hole course features challenging par 3's averaging over 150 yards in length, and four par 4's that will continue to challenge even the most proficient golfer.

Northstar-at-Tahoe -- Inspiring mountain and meadow views complement this Robert Muir Graves championship course. Wide-open, links-style play characterizes the front side, while shotmaking is a premium on the back with its narrow, tree-lined fairways, creeks, ponds and small greens. The 6,897 yards play tough with water on 14 holes and numerous well-placed traps.

Resort at Squaw Creek -- Nestled below the granite peaks of world famous Squaw Valley USA, this Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design demands accurate play. The par 71 championship links layout winds along the valley floor through and around wetlands, providing awesome vistas as well as a severe test of target golf. Has received Audubon status as a certified cooperative sanctuary, and Golf Magazine mention as one of the "Top Ten Courses You Can Play."


Bijou Municipal Golf Course -- Historic 9 hole public course set in a High Sierra Alpine Meadows with vistas of Heavenly Ski Resort and Freel Peak. The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the operations and maintenance of many different facilities, sites and programs.  These sites include:  South Tahoe Ice Arena, Recreation and Swimming Pool Complex, Campground by the Lake, Regan Beach, El Dorado Beach, Bijou Golf Course, Senior Citizens Center and Kids Club.

Tahoe Donner Tahoe Donner - Tahoe Donner's 18-hole Championship Golf Course is located high in the Sierra. Cradled among the towering pines, the course's narrow fairways and numerous creeks place a strict demand on accuracy for a challenging and enjoyable round of golf. A semi-private course, Tahoe Donner was designed by Roy Williams and Bill Bell Jr. and opened in 1975. Other amenities include: Pro Shop, Rental Clubs, Driving Range, Lessons and Clinics, Tee D's Bar & Grill and Snack Bar.

Carson Valley Golf Course -- This comfortable 18-hole layout winds through century-old cottonwoods and along the banks of the Carson River. It's been a long time favorite with families, novices and those in search of a quick round or a few birdies. It provides a relaxing, yet challenging jaunt over 5,836 level yards, with a slope of 111 and a rating of 66.3.


Dayton Valley Golf Club

Dayton Valley Golf Club -- Arnold Palmer masterfully blended the natural beauty of the high desert terrain with the challenges of sculpted, rolling links-style fairway dotted with countless sand traps and water hazards. Six tee markers accommodate all levels of play, with yardage from 5,161 to over 7,200. The plush fairways, and large, undulating greens have brought Stage One PGA Tour Qualifying to the area annually since 1995.


Eagle Valley

Eagle Valley East -- Tee it high and let it fly! This fun and forgiving course is popular with long hitters because even if you stray, you still have a shot at par or birdie. A local's favorite, Eagle Valley East provides challenge with its 6,658 yards, numerous water hazards and large greens. The gently sloping terrain borders rolling hills providing natural appeal.


Eagle Valley West -- This links-style course demands accuracy with its emphasis on target golf. Numerous forced carries make club selection critical, then it's on to the challenging, undulating greens. Water also plays a role on 12 holes. Various elevation changes allow for big tee shots but trouble usually beckons on both sides.


Empire Ranch Golf Course

Empire Ranch Golf Course -- This valley course features three nines, with water, wetlands and large greens posing the challenge. Fairly open but rarely unforgiving, this course opened in 1997. The first hole on the Red Nine features a par 4, dogleg left through ancient cottonwood trees with a huge green adjacent to an old ranch house. Five sets of tees provide different personalities.

The Golf Club at Genoa Lakes

The Golf Club at Genoa Lakes -- Set against the scenic eastern slope of the Sierras, this links style course was designed by John Harbottle and PGA Tour pro Peter Jacobsen. Opened in 1993, it was rated "4th Best New Public Course" in North America by Golf Digest, and "3rd Best Course in the State". A shot-maker's delight, it's bordered by the Carson River and numerous natural lakes, with water on 14 holes. New superintendent John Fleming brings his 30+ years of major championship experience from the Olympic Club. Has hosted U.S. Open Qualifying, Nevada State Amateur and others. Over $10 million in new facilities have been added in the past year.


Sierra Nevada Golf Ranch

Sierra Nevada Golf Ranch -- This championship golf experience is framed by 10,000-foot peaks and stunning views of the Carson Valley. A Johnny Miller/John Harbottle design, this championship golf course has a variety of elevation changes, rolling fairways and numerous water features that make this a memorable challenge. Carved into the Sierra range, it features lush green fairways juxtaposed with the bordering natural grasses and sagebrush.

Silver Oak Golf Course -- This championship course is nestled in northwest Carson City is known for excellent course conditions and firm, fast greens. Don't let the wide open appearance fool you as this track winds it way through natural terrain demanding accurate play over changing elevations.


Sunridge Golf Club Sunridge Golf Club -- Sunridge demands a premium on accurate play. It features tight fairways, challenging sidehill and downhill lies, serious elevation changes and large greens -- many of the mounded variety. Numerous strategically placed ponds dot the landscape, most offering high reward for high risk. No. 4 is a 150-yard par 3 all over water so make the right club selection.

ArrowCreek Golf Club -- The Legend Course, designed by Arnold Palmer, is a traditional layout featuring mild undulations and extensive bunkering. Open this Spring, the course is nestled into the foothillsof Southwest Reno overlooking the entire Reno valley. D'Andrea Country Club

D’Andrea Country Club – Set amid the rolling hills of Sparks, D’Andrea Country Club has been rated by Golf Magazine as one of the top regional courses in the West. Designed by Keith Foster, D’Andrea rises 450 feet above the valley, winding along the Pahrah Hills, providing spectacular views of Reno and the Sierra Nevada mountains. With up to six sets of tees on most holes, the dramatic design offers challenge and fun to all players.


Lake Ridge Golf Course

Lake Ridge Golf Course -- A longtime area favorite, it’s been voted “Reno’s Best Course” the past 12 years. It’s also where the entire group is playing on Monday, June 3. The unique blend of great golf and astonishing views, its signature hole is the par 3, 15th, featuring an island green. It plays up to 220 yards with a 140-foot drop from elevated tee. Measuring 6,703 yards from the championship tees, it requires strategy and precise shot making. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.


Montreaux Golf Course -- Montrêux has the envy of being home to the only Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in northern Nevada. The 18-hole course, which Nicklaus has designated one of his top five, winds over 7,552 yards. Limited to 435 members, this private course also includes a 19th hole designed by Patty Sheehan, three practice holes and an exclusive 33,000 square foot clubhouse. It is also the site of the Reno-Tahoe Open - an official PGA TOUR event - which returns to the lush fairways of Montrêux for another successful year, bringing with it some of the top PGA pros in the country.

Northgate Golf Club

Northgate Golf Club -- Called the "St. Andrews of the Sierra," this course offers challenging Scottish links-style golf in a high desert setting. Lush green is surrounded by Nevada sagebrush as it wends through canyons and arroyos. Gold Magazine named it one of 1989's best new public courses and it hosted the Ben Hogan Reno Open in 1991 and '92 and U.S. Open qualifying tournaments.

Red Hawk Golf Club -- Opened in 1997, The Lakes Course is an 18-hole championship layout by Robert Trent Jones Jr., appropriately named with water on numerous holes. The property covers 160 acres of federally protected wetlands, which not only require accurate shotmaking challenges to players, but also form a serene natural backdrop. The user-friendly design includes tee boxes ranging from 5,082 yards to 6,693 yards and panoramic mountain views. Annual host site for the Reno/Sparks City Amateur Championship.


Wildcreek Golf Course

Wildcreek Golf Course -- Overlooking Reno, Wildcreek pits your skill against rolling meadows and water hazards on the front nine, while testing your stamina with high desert on the back. A variety of challenges are this course's signature with sidehill, uphill and downhill lies, while water comes into play throughout with six lakes and a creek. Wolf Run Golf Club Wolf Run Golf Club -- Wolf Run opened in Spring 1998. The course features both opportunity and demand off the tees, skilled approach shots and a deft putting touch on large, fast greens. The traditional layout plays well in its natural setting and features rolling hillsides and picturesque views of the Sierra and downtown Reno. There's four teeing areas stretching from 5,294 yards to 6,936 yards, and water on 15 holes.

The Dragon -- The Dragon is a spectacular 18-hole championship course. Bring your “A” game because The Dragon is bold, strong and unforgiving. Offering incredible views of the Sierra and the Feather River, this 7,000 yard masterpiece of mountain golf is so strong it will capture the mind and soul and trigger the adrenaline. The "Nakoma by Frank Lloyd Wright” Resort is the centerpiece of the facility and one of the most unique clubhouses in the country.

Graeagle Meadows Golf Course -- The natural beauty, mountain views, lofty pines, elevated tees and plenty of water make this course a long-time favorite. Built along the banks of the Feather River, this championship layout is enjoyable for all levels. Designed by Ellis Van Gorder, it opened in 1968 and has maintained its wilderness flavor. The 6,700 yard course was selected to the 2000-01 Golf Digest "Best Places to Play" guide.

Golf Club at Whitehawk Ranch -- Another natural beauty, the course blends harmoniously with its spectacular surroundings. Streams meander through magnificent pines, cedars and aspens to create ponds and waterfalls. Immaculate fairways are framed with native grasses, California poppies and Blue Lupine. A premium is on accurate play over this championship test named 18th Best Course in California by Golf Digest. The entire group will be meeting here for tournament play on Tuesday, June 4.


Plumas Pines Golf Resort Plumas Pines Golf Resort -- This 1980 Homer Flint designed, 6,504 yard, par 72 course is rated at 71.6 from the blues. Carved out of the tall pines and edged by the middle fork of the Feather River, it features sculpted fairways, manicured greens and beautiful vistas.
